  • Discovering Qiriness for a Spa day at home

Hello my little beauties! Today, I am happy to present you Qiriness, a French brand specialized in skin care and spa at home products, which I recently got the chance to try out thanks to its Swiss launch at MANOR and online. I received 9 products in total and did not have the time yet to try all of them, however, I can already tell you that I have a few favorite ones, which are truly perfect for both a daily use and a Spa day at home with your Mom, Sisters or best friends! Let’s get straight at it, here are the products I ordered from Qiriness in order to test them before launching the Giveaway on my Instagram. Cleaners -1 Velvety Eye Make-Up Remover -1 Cleanser fresh gel – Really loving this cleanser too! Am really into cleansers lately because for way too many years I was not cleaning my skin properly. I did not realize how important it was when I was younger and most of all, how goooood it feels to have such a perfect clean face! -1 Divine lotion – Big crush for this one as it’s super fresh and feels amazing on the skin right after having used the Cleanser fresh gel. The 3-step at home program -1 Wrap Exfolys (scrub without grains, basically the one you can see on the main picture above) -1 box of Herbal Facial Steam Bath (for steam bath) -1 mask Extreme Moisture Balm My girlfriends and I had a great time trying out these 3 products. We started with the wrap cream which feels great on the skin and really does scrub gently. We looked quite funny with the wrap texture on our faces! I should have taken pictures but we were enjoying our time too much for that! Then, we used one after the other the steam bath (using the Marrakech smell), it was a pure delight. After the steam bath, we applied the extreme moisture balm mask and had some funny discussions about life and girly stuff, all this while watching Sex and the City. Super cliché I know, but we had a blast! Daily Cares -1 serum Age-Defy Smoothing Essence -1 cream Age-Defy Smoothing Cream -1 eye care Age-Defy Smoothing Eye Cream Ok, now, NO KIDDING my dears, because these 3 anti-age daily cares have become an important part of my daily skin routine. Especially because I am clearly freaking out that in less than a year I will have turned 30 years old… Now, although I have another serum which I love and I first need to finish before using the one from Qiriness, I have already tested it and it seems great. From these three daily cares, I have a special crush for the age-defy smoothing cream. The smell is quite nice and the texture is quite thick, which is great because we don’t have to apply a lot in order to have this cream making magic on our skin. As for the eye care, it’s doing great too around my eyes and am happy I found it. Let’s see now if on the long terms it reduces the dark circle well. There you go my lovelies, I wish you good luck for the Giveaway and I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this great discovery of Qiriness daily and spa cares, now available online and at MANOR in Switzerland. Thanks for reading and I see you again on the blog soon! • I Tried 100% Vegan, Natural, Swiss “CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic” and This is What Happen

Hello my little beauties! I hope you are well. Today, I am finally back with a new beauty review, which I am pretty sure you will enjoy discovering, especially if you are also into Natural Cosmetics! Time for some new discoveries In order to write this review, I took 3 weeks to test this new Natural Cosmetics products, taking the “testing moment” in a very serious way. Ready for a 100% natural and vegan very honest review? Let’s go! Today, I am super happy to present you a cruelty free Swiss skin care brand, made of 100% natural ingredients, called “CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic”. 3 affordable skin care products, 1 vegan concept About three months ago, I have been contacted by Laura, the Swiss owner and founder of CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic skin care, who proposed me to give a try to three of her brand new skin care products; “Glow Skin Face Cream”, “Regenerating Face Oil” and “Soft Cleansing Foam”. As soon as Laura told me about her natural and cruelty free beauty concept, I knew chances were high for me to like her skin cares… and I was RIGHT. A couple of years ago, I was not really looking at the ingredients in my skin care products but this has changed throughout the years and now it is more and more important to me, and I know it is the same for you too. Now, before telling you more about each of the three products I got to test during the past three weeks, here are some of the reasons why I have got a serious crush on CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic skin care products and the reason why I accepted to try and review these natural products: 100% natural ingredients, including plant extracts and oils Vegan Not tested on animals Free of parabens, silicones, hormones, mineral oils, synthetic fragrance There are NO chemicals, synthetic or genetically modified ingredients So far, CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic is already scoring really high, isn’t it? Although, I have not shared my reviews with you yet. So there you go: 1) Glow Skin Face Cream Price: CHF29.20 (Discount: “CINDY-30” for 30% off) What it says it does: Delivers intense 24-hour moisture for every skin type The extract of carrots gives the skin a sun-kissed complexion and a healthy glow Cucumber extracts soothes the skin if you have red skin areas, skin irritations or blemished skin Raspberry oil moisturizes and softens the skin What it actually did on my skin after 2 weeks using it every morning and evening: Literally ALL of the above. In order not to get influenced by the description of all these three products, I decided to only look at their descriptions once I would be writing this review. So, right now, I have a little satisfied smile on my face because Glow Skin Face Cream by CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic did exactly what it said it would do and to be honest I am surprised and impressed in a very good way. I have eczema since I was a baby, leaving me with dry and red skin next to my chin area and sometimes forehead too. Now, when I look at it, it seems to be gone and the redness and dryness have faded away. So thank you Laura for putting cucumber extracts in this cream! As for the carrots extracts, I love the smell of it and how it makes my skin glow, without over-shining either. The texture hydrates well, yet it is mat, meaning my skin does not shine like it would with other brands’ creams containing more oils or some undefined ingredients. Now, I cannot say that the results came all after just one application. Glow Skin Face Cream is made of 100% natural ingredients, so like every beautiful things in our nature, it takes a few days to start seeing how great Glow Skin Face Cream is doing on our skin. After all, all good things are worth waiting for and in this case, the wait only lasts 2-3 days. Will I continue using it? Absolutely YES! 2) Regenerating Face Oil Price: CHF32.50 (Discount: “CINDY-30” for 30% off) What it says it does: The ultralight face oil with high-quality oils (Rice bran oil, Pomegranate seed oil, Moringa oil, Wild rose oils, Carrot oil and 0% Water) nourishes dry and irritated skin The oil has a regenerating and calming effect and gives the skin a fresh, youthful shine What it actually did on my skin after 2 weeks using it every evening before bed: As a person with dry skin due to my eczema history, natural oils have always been part of my weekly skin routine. I have been using one for many years from another natural brand, which really does me well, yet I was curious to try CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic’s Regenerating Face Oil. The thing I like about this latter is that although it is an oil, it is a very light one, meaning I did not felt like I had oil all over my face and hands if you know what I mean. This is definitely well thought and done by CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic and I might use it till it is finished, before using my other oil again, which now clearly feels way too oily compared to the Regenerating Face Oil. As for the smell, it smells wonderfully well and I think that is where the “calming effect” comes from. Once again, the Regenerating Face Oil by CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic did what it promised it would. Will I continue using it? Absolutely YES, at least till it will be over and I will then miss it and I can already bet I will buy it again. 3) Soft Cleansing Foam Price: CHF24.50 (Discount: “CINDY-30” for 30% off) What it says it does: Cleanses deep into the pores and removes blemishes, irritations and redness The skin looks clear, matted and fresh Makeup can be removed very gently The eye area can also be cleaned with the cleansing foam The foam does not burn in the eyes What it actually did on my skin after 2 weeks using it every morning and evening: Here again, I cannot stress how much the description above is relevant. I am really impressed to be honest because each single detail Soft Cleansing Foam said it does, it actually does. That is a very rare thing nowadays. Usually, products descriptions are beautified and exaggerated, but in this case it absolutely is not. What CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic says you will get, really is what YOU get. And this, for me, as a blogger reviewing products, is the most wonderful and satisfying part of my job. I absolutely LOVE using the Soft Cleansing Foam by CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic. It is crazy how clean my face is, right after I rinse off the foam. The matted finish is real and actually so real, that my skin felt tighten up, so I was always applying the Glow Skin Face Cream right after, in order to keep my skin well hydrated. The only thing I unfortunately cannot confirm to you is whether this foam works great around the eyes, since I have lashes extensions and I avoid putting products around my eyes. Will I continue using it? Absolutely yes, yes and yesss. Big crush on this cleanses foam! Other than that, I simply cannot recommend you more these products. I am 200% convinced that CONFIDENCE Natural Cosmetic is a wonderful concept and brand, and that if you give it a try, you will fall in love as I did and still do. 30% discount code for you with code: CINDY-30 (I will not earn any commission by you using this code, it is simply a gift Laura and I wanted to offer you) Thank you for reading my little beauties! I really hope you enjoyed discovering this new brand, worth knowing and talking about from now on. See you again soon on the blog and even sooner on Instagram! Muaks, Muaks Cindy Special thanks to: Laura from Confidence Cosmetics for having me testing and reviewing her wonderful products. Sandy G. • Paris Fashion Week with SWAROVSKI

Hello my little beauties! Hope you are doing well. I just got back from Paris, after spending three super fun days at Paris Fashion Week (PFW), discovering the gorgeous new #followthelight collections by Swarovski, along with 3 other lovely Swiss bloggers. Paris Fashion Week 2019 I was supposed to attend Paris Fashion Week already last year as well but with MAC Cosmetics; attending fashion shows such as Elie Saab and a few others but I could not make it back then due to the organization of Baselworld for the fashion brand I used to previously work for. I was super sad to miss this super cool opportunity in 2018 but thought there would be more opportunities to come and guess what, I was right to stay positive! 🙂 About two weeks ago, I got invited by Swarovski to join them at the #PFW. I was super excited to finally go to my very first Fashion Week, especially that the other girls who also got invited are some of my favorite Swiss chicas bloggers! From left to right: @maevabuono / @manuelovely / @carina.raquel_ / @cocorebelista Bonjour Paris et Swarovski family! We arrived in Paris on Thursday night and headed to Swarovski Atelier Showroom on Friday, late morning. I was so happy to see my girl, Daniela, again. Am so proud of her, she does an amazing job and so do her colleagues! After a warm welcome by Swarovski family, we discovered the new collections, including stunning pieces made in collaboration with (la mujer mas guapa de España) Penelope Cruz! I really had a big big crush on this collection. The pieces and the design are simple stunning. #FOLLOWTHELIGHT Another big crush was the #followthelight collections. I love the concept and the way both the clothes and the jewelry were presented. The mood board were absolute goals! Although there are many stunning new sparkling pieces, I especially fell for the ones with moons, polar stars and the evil eyes pieces from the Magic Light by Nathalie Colin’s collections. These sparkling pieces are super original and trendy. I simply LOVE them. I so wish I could just ring Swarovski and get to wear all of their pieces for the rest of the year! 🙂 Swarovski Street Style Photo Shoot in Paris After the new collections presentation, we got ready for Swarovski’s official’s street style photo shoot. I was a bit nervous and really hoped I would not make weird faces (as I usually do on 95 pictures out of 100) or have some bad postures while getting photographed… Like having a sudden double chin or something… Haha The photographer was SO nice, so it really helped me to feel more confortable. After all, I am NOT a fashion model (at all!), I am just a normal girl who started her blog 4 years ago, wearing a pyjama and a big messy bun! (Pretty much like right now, while am writing this post actually! haha) So yeah, shooting for such a big brand was a pretty big deal to me. I cannot wait to see the results of the photo shoot we made with Swarovski. Am a bit nervous to be honest… Cause I am a true image control freak, especially when it comes to my brand image. (I wish there was a way I could add the “nerd emoji face” here!) Hihi Anyways, stay tuned and you may see a part of my little face appearing on Swarovski’s official IG account soon, who knows. • Barcelona: Where to stay and eat in 2019

Hello my lovelies, Hope you are doing well. Today, I am back with an updated post on one of my favorite city, Barcelona. I cannot count the number of times I have been there the past 5 years. I was literally kind of like running away from the Swiss weather every second weekends during these past years, chasing the palm trees and the sun, while shopping a bit too much and eating delicious local food (also a bit too much!). Now, my personal situation has changed recently, am a bit sadden of course but it’s probably for the best, resulting in making me go there less than I used to. Anyways, it’s time for you to discover the updated list of restaurants and hotels, which I really enjoyed eating and staying at the past years since my last update back in 2016, long time ago! Where to eat in 2019 L’Olivé Mediterranean Food Big crush on this delicious and stunning restaurant situated at only 5 minutes by walk from the center and right next to Praktik Vinoteca Hotel (which I recommend you below). L’Olivé is definitely one of my new favorite restaurant in Barcelona and I can’t wait to go back to Barcelona with my girlfriends to have a wonderful night there. I love the atmosphere and the unique Mediterranean and a little bit vintage design of l’Olivé. The staff is very attentive, kind and professional and the food is to die for! I recommend you to share the octopus as a starter and then to choose either the tuna tartar or the salmon tartar. As for the dessert, the crema catalana with coco ice cream was delicious too. Just speaking of it makes me crave for it big time! 🙂 Mextizo Mexican Food I looove Mexican food and my God, Mextizo restaurant in Barcelona is bomb! We ordered a couple of different tacos and these were the most delicious I have ever eaten in my entire life. No jokes! The food is so tasty and fresh, I can’t wait to go back and eat as many as I possibly can and of course also eat their delicious 3 chocolates dessert. 🙂 Oh Gosh I am SO hungry right now!!! El Crudo Bar Sea Food Calling all sea food lovers here! El Crudo Bar in Barcelona is my go to restaurant when I am craving for fresh and delicious sea food. Can’t describe how yummy everything is there! Am hungryyyyy! Haha 9 Reinas Argentinian Food Although am trying to eat less meat since a couple of years, I still get to love having a tasty Argentinian meat from time to time. Not only the meat is absolutely delicious at 9 Reinas but so are their Argentinian wines. We actually went there on my 29th Birthday and I don’t know whether it was planned or not but the waiters kept on bringing us free glasses of champagne. I of course already got pretty drunk after just the first glass of delicious red wine, so I let you imagine how messed up our discussions went during that delicious lunch… I clearly said a bunch of stuff I had on my heart, which I really should have never spoken out loud! Who knew me turning 29 years old and drinking too much Argentinian wine would make me cry like a baby, while continuing drinking my wine, champagne glasses and eating yummy meat all at the same time? Am officially in my almost 30 existential crisis. Miss Sushi Aribau Japanese Food If  Sex and the City was taking place in Barcelona, Miss Sushi Aribau restaurant would definitely be “the place to be” for Carry, Samanta and CO. This pink vibes restaurant is not only super cute and super girly, making it a perfect cozy place to have delicious sushi with your girlfriends, but it is also as I just said a yummy place for sushi lovers! I really like going there because their sushi are super fresh and so delicious! They make some specialties, such as the ones you can see on the second picture above; the Foie & Mango sushi were one of the yummiest sushi I ever had! And trust me, I ate a lot of amazing sushi in my life, especially when living in Singapore. PS: Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures. I did not take proper photos, cause I was too hungry (as always), so I made Insta Stories and I literally just screenshot the video, to upload a picture here on the blog… #welcometoreallife ! 🙂 Mako BCN Japanese Food Here again, Sushiiiiii! Great place with delicious fresh Japanese food, situated in the center of Barcelona. I recommend you to order the sushi with the paprika chips, like on the first picture. It was really good. For my favorite brunch places and healthy spots in Barcelona, check out my posts: FAVORITE BRUNCH PLACES IN BARCELONA NEW FAVORITE SPOTS IN BARCELONA Where to stay in 2019 EnjoyBCN Apartments If you are planning a trip to Barcelona with your friends, whether it is just for a vacay or to celebrate a birthday or a hen/bachelorette party, I highly recommend you to book one of the EnjoyBCN apartments. We booked that place two years ago for 8 people to celebrate my best friend’s 30’s birthday and we really had a blast! We first spent 1 night at two apartments in the EnjoyBCN GAUDI BUILDING near la Sagrada Familia and then got upgraded to a Penthouse in the EnjoyBCN MIRO BUILDING near plaça Universitat, at the center of Barcelona. Both were nice but the penthouse obviously blew us away! There’s even a direct access to an amazing rooftop swimming pool and BBQ place. I am still dreaming this penthouse could be mine forever haha. Ps: The reason why we got this upgrade was due to the fact that there has been an issue with one of our flats during our first night at the Gaudi Building near la Sagrada Familia. We told the staff of EnjoyBCN right away and they reasonably quickly came up with the solution of moving us to the penthouse for the next 2 nights we were staying in Barcelona. A little weird-funny adventure that ended up making us feel so fortunate! 🙂 So really, if you are looking for a short-stay apartment in Barcelona for you and your friends, EnjoyBCN is the way to go! You will have one of the greatest time of your life in Barcelona for sure! Thank me later! 😉 Here are some more pics of how the penthouse looks like exactly: And here is how the apartments in GAUDI BUILDING, near la Sagrada Familia looked like: Praktik hotels Barcelona Praktik Vinoteca I have stayed at many hotels in Barcelona for the past 5 years and I have not actually written a lot of reviews on them, which is a pity because I often get questions from you on Instagram. One of my favorite place to stay when I am back in Barcelona is the boutique hotel Praktik Vinoteca. The rooms are quite small, but they are very clean, the bed is super comfy, the room is white with some touches of wood, black and gold, its full of natural light and well-designed. Really perfect for a short stay with your friends or your lover. View this post on Instagram What Sundays are made for 🕊 | @praktikhotels #praktikhotels #vinoteka A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on Nov 5, 2017 at 5:25am PST It is a nice and simple boutique hotel (there is no spa), located at only 5 minutes walk from the center of Barcelona, yet it is a pretty quite area, which is amazing. There are some of my favorite restaurants situated nearby and you can literally do everything by walk since you are so closed to the center and everything. The closest metro station is the one from Passeig de Gracia, only 5 minutes away from Praktik Vinoteca hotel, and from this metro station, you can easily go anywhere in the city in no time, thanks to its good metro lines connections. In addition to its amazing location and nice and clean features, this cute boutique hotel is a perfect place for wine lovers. By the way, upon your check-in you will get a complimentary glass of delicious wine, which makes you feel welcome and at home the minute you got there. The staff is nice and the breakfast is tasty and has a great variety of continental and Spanish breakfast. I really like the breakfast area as it is a very lovely place not only to start the day but also to have a glass of wine later on with your lover or your friends. I especially love the cute outdoor patio, which is sunny and nicely designed too. Now, since I recently got a new phone, I forgot to back it up since April 2017, meaning I lost ALL my photos, contacts and so on! But I found some lost conversations and pictures from back in 2017, which was pretty strange I must say… #LIFE. Hence, I am adding below the pictures you can find on Praktik Vinoteca‘s website. Yet, everything you see on the pictures below, you get. Reception Area Lounge Area, next to breakfast area Breakfast Area Outdoor Patio We chose the “Exterior Double Room” The “Exterior Double Room” Small Open Closet in the “Exterior Double Room” and the glass doors opening on a small corridor, where you have the toilets on one side and the shower on the other. Be aware that the shower glass is transparent! Toilet side, with sliding door Fresh and clean white towels and some bathroom amenities If none of these two places to stay seduced you, feel free to check one of my other Barcelona hotels review: LIFE IN BLACK & WHITE AT EUROPARK HOTEL BARCELONA I really hope this helps and that now you have a better idea on places to book for your next trip in Barcelona. 🙂 Thanks for reading, big hugs and I see you here on the blog again soon! • Breast Reduction: 4 Months Post-Surgery + Q&A

Hi Girls! It’s now been almost four months since I got my lollipop breast reduction, so here is an update for you since I received so many questions on Instagram. I have selected a few of your questions and am going to answer them in this new blog post as promised. But first thing first, if it is your first visit on the blog or you have missed my previous posts on my breast reduction journey, I invite you to first read my two previous posts: BREAST REDUCTION: I AM GETTING A BOOB JOB! LOLLIPOP BREAST REDUCTION: I DID IT! How did you feel during your first month of breast reduction post-surgery? I won’t lie, the first month has been hell. All the pain and the medicine just were too much for me. I feel like I was not really myself and felt the strong need to be less active on social media. Leaving my phone aside was much needed for me during this period, because I simply did not feel like becoming “the girl who suffers and complains all the time”, especially that I am the one who took the decision to go through surgery. I am a very positive person and cannot stand negative vibes. So, whenever I feel really bad, I prefer to simply remain silent and disappear, unless if I feel that there is some potential to make some of you laugh a bit of course; like the other day when I showed you my #hamsterface on my Insta Story after I got my last wisdom tooth out… Another painful moment, but thanks God, that was my last wisdom tooth! Another thing that has happened and that I had NO idea before would happen, was the weird emotional state that followed my breast reduction surgery part. Yes, my body was really hurting but my mood suffered with lots of lows too, making me cry often like a baby. I feel like it’s a bit like when you are on your periods, except that instead of having your lower stomach part hurting, it’s your boobies and it does not last only 3-5 days but rather a month or two. Am sure many of you can relate! Are you happy with the results, what has changed for you? Yes, I am really happy when looking at my new boobies (I went down from EU size 80D to 80B). Now, they look beautiful, feel super light, and perfectly fit with the rest of my body and my back NO longer hurts. The only thing is that the pain has been SO strong and annoying for me that I was feeling quite down. I know I should focus on the good, since all this will make my life easier and healthier but to be honest, when you are right in the middle of this pain, it’s not easy to remember that only a few months away, all this will be behind and I will be the happiest ever. Now, despite the pain, there were some positive moments too of course. Like the moment when I discovered them when removing the plasters (I almost fainted) and when I tried on my entire closet and realized that 80% of my wardrobe was now too big for me. For the record, I am an EU size M but because of my big boobies I often had to wear XL if I wanted my boobies not to make the buttoned shirts and dresses explode up there. XL boobies issue is now behind me and I can finally wear the same size up and down, so it feels great to be proportioned for the first time since I was 12 years old. Although I must admit my hips are still there! Some people told me I should sell my clothes but I preferred to give most of my wardrobe to charity and some others to my friends. At least this smaller boobies experience will be helpful and good to many. How did you manage to sleep after the surgery? One of the hardest part was sleeping indeed. My BF was always helping me placing many pillows around me, so that I would not turn during the night and hurt myself. That was very helpful but since week 3 post-surgery I could finally happily sleep again on the side, so I slept much better. Also, although 1 month had past, I still took pain killers quite often to ensure I get plenty of sleep and I can be efficient at work. How long did you rest after your breast reduction surgery before going back to work? After the surgery I stayed at my parents’ house during the first 3 days (my Mom took some days off to care of me) and then my sweet BF brought me back to our flat, where I rested one week. So in total, I got about 10 days of recovery before heading back to work. I feel like it was not long enough but hey, that is how it is and I just had to deal with it. I was glad to have my pain killers with me. When can you start working out again? About two months after the operation but I can now start again with some light biking and physical activities as it has been a month. #exciting How long did it take you to be able to drive your car again? Exactly 7 days, but it was a bit painful since it is a manual car, so if you can wait a bit more, it would be better. When can you start buying new bras? Haha, good question! I saw my Surgeon for my 3 weeks post-surgery meeting and he told me that my boobies were healing well and that I could start wearing other bras, as long as they are wireless bras. I found some pretty ones at Oysho but the issue is that at the moment, my breast is still swollen, so I don’t know my final size exactly yet. They will most likely be slightly smaller than now and get in a more natural shape soon too. Plus, my nipples are still very sensitive and I still have to wear small plasters bandage, so at the moment I feel safer to continue using my post-surgery bra for a little bit longer; so nicer bras will wait! When will you show us a before/after picture? Sooo many of you asked me this question and I totally understand! I did ask the same to other girls in the past because a picture is worth a thousand words. Allow me to heal a bit more and then I will be of course sharing the famous Before/After picture. Just be a bit more patient. By the way, I will show you the B/A wearing clothes on, cause there’s no way am showing my boobies to the internet! 😉 #sorrynotsorry Do you feel it was worth the money? That is a tricky question, because I did my operation in Switzerland, known to be the most expensive country of the world and I am now “financially broken”. But at the same time, my life and my health do not have a price, so yes, I believe my breast reduction surgery was worth the money and am so glad I did it in my country. Especially that I get so many post-surgery meetings with my Surgeon, Dr. B. in Bern (the Swiss capital). He really is the best and really cares about his patients. I have seen him already 4 times since my operation and will be seeing him again next June 2019. Would you recommend breast reduction surgery to other girls who also suffer from the same things as you did? Yes, absolutely. Now, of course it is painful to go through a breast reduction surgery but this pain goes away by the days and will leave you happy and healthy, which is not always the case with heavy boobs giving you back pains and making you feel uncomfortable (if that is the case for you as well of course). You have to do what is good for YOU and if you choose the right Surgeon, you will be absolutely fine. That’s it for this Breast Reduction: 4-Months Post-Surgery + Q&A. I hope this post is useful to you or to any of your friends/family members who feel like getting a smaller breasts surgery done may be a relief too. If one of your questions was not answered in this blog post, feel free to comment below and if you enjoyed this post, it would mean a lot to me if you could click on the heart below. Thank you my Lovelies and see you here again soon! Muaks, Muaks, Cíndy #health #breastreduction #wellness #estheticsurgery #plasticsurgery

  • Lollipop Breast Reduction: I did it!

Good morning my Lovelies! That’s it, I can’t believe it’s done! My boobies are FINALLY smaller, feel way lighter (1kg of boobies gone!) and they seem to look pretty awesome already. They seem to now be the way they always should have been. For the record, I had my breast reduction done yesterday, exactly 24 hours ago from this moment I am writing this lollipop breast reduction blog post to you. Yesterday, August 22, 2018, my lovely Mama woke up with me at 5:40am and brought me to the Plastic Surgery Clinic in Bern, Switzerland, where I had to be at 7:00am sharp. Usually, it is hard for me to wake up THAT early but strangely, yesterday I was fully awake at the first irritating alarm sound on my iPhone. I did not sleep much the night before the operation because I was freaking out a bit to be honest but having the love and support of my lovely family, beloved boyfriend, friends and so many of YOU on Instagram really helped me to stay strong and positive. 7:00am – Good morning Nurse / Goodbye my Savings We arrived at the Clinic in Bern at 7am on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. I paid my operation in cash (not sure what hurts the most… spending ALL my savings account in 1 second or the surgery itself) 7:15am – See you later Mama / What? No way, not today! Once the payment was made and some information were given to us, my sweet Mom left to head to work. At that moment, I was ok as I knew I was going to be well taken care of, since a few of my friends got operated at the same clinic before and I really liked my surgeon, the minute I met him. The only thing is that I was scared inside and that made my stomach pretty upset just after the payment. I won’t go through these unglamorous details but well I am just a human. As if having a big operation was not enough, I went to the bathroom to have one last look at my big boobies, saying “Hey darlings, it was cool sometimes with you, but now it’s time to say goodbye!”. Then, I discovered that my monthly gift had arrived… I let you imagine how confused I felt. Luckily, the Doctor told me that having your periods during an operation is NOT dangerous at all and that although I had read on internet (SO MUCH BULLSHIT) that you cannot wear a tampon, both my male Surgeon and Anesthetist told me I could totally wear one, thank GOD for that. NEVER thought I would talk about such subjects with the opposite sex neither here on the blog, but well, it is life and I believe we should all be more chill and open about this kind of things, cause we are ALL the same. 7:20am – Good Morning Anesthetist / Time for Happy Pills At 7:20am, the Anesthetist welcomed me and we went through a few questionnaires with questions such as; Do you smoke? (I don’t.) Do you have any sickness or allergies? (Just some eczema), etc. The typical check-up questions they ask you before any operation basically. Then he explained me quiet in details how my full anesthesia was going to be and that the operation was going to start at 8am sharp (So Swiss haha) and that it would last about 3 hours and a half. I told him I was a bit petrified but he was really good at reassuring me. This 50-something Swiss German man is such a lovely soul. After our meeting, he gave me a “happy” pill… the kind of pill that makes it all chill and cool. Wish I could get some at home for when I get too stressed in my life haha. 7:40am – Good Morning wonderful Doctor B. / Drawing art on my big boobies I had to wait before taking the “happy” pill because I still had to meet with my Surgeon for a last chat and for him to paint some art on my boobies with a pen. Such an artist! That is basically when your Surgeon shows you what he will do and how he will do it. I remember that the last things I said to my lovely Surgeon, Doctor B., before heading to the operation room, was: “Doctor, I know you are the best and very professional but please kindly ensure my boobies become small, perky, light, well-up and round. Oh and that I can do this terrifying test by placing a pen under my boobs and it falls; Since that has not been the case for me since I was 14 years old”. To what he told me, “Yes, that is what everyone wants in general” and he made a little reassuring smile and wink. Haha, can you tell I am a total control freak all the way till the operation room? We had to laugh. J 8:00am – Tic, Tac, Tic, Tac / The Operation room I went back to the small room where I would recover after the op and there I took the magic pill and (tic, tac, tic, tac) it was “Swiss” time for me to enter in the operation room. I could feel the pill starting to make effect, I felt SO chill. They installed all the things around me (heart pulsation screen, electrodes on my head to analyze my sleep, the needle in my left hand vein, etc.) 8:10am to 11:20am – Anesthesia is spreading / Let the magic begin My anesthesia went very well, I could feel the liquid a bit in my veins spreading all over my body, and it was a bit strange but I felt ok. They also placed an oxygen mask on my face (yes like in Greys Anatomy). Then, last thing I said (that I can remember) was that I felt the anesthesia going all the way up to my neck and it was… Bam, I was unconscious, sleeping deeply without feeling anything nor seeing anything. I kind of wished deeply inside that I could see/speak with my sweet Grandma and Godfather who passed away and I truly miss, but sadly they did not come see me. It was simply like when you sleep and you don’t dream. Just relaxing, while getting your body open and so on. Quiet strange and hard to truly understand how anesthesia works and where your soul and conscious go while under anesthesia… if death feels the same, then people should enjoy life to the max and not be too scared for their older days because it will always be ok. Sounds a bit philosophic and deep, I know, sorry for that. 11:20am – Still sleeping / C’est what meine language déjà? My lollipop breast reduction operation lasted 3 hours and a half and then I slept in the recovery room till 1:30pm, sounds a lot to me but at the same time, it went like the blink of an eye. One minute I was in the operation room feeling the anesthesia products spreading in my veins, the next one, I was sleeping in my recovery bed, hearing some women speaking in Swiss German, but could still not really open my eyes. I think the nurse came to check me out very often and apparently, at 7am I was speaking with them a bit in Swiss German, then switched to French (my mother tongue) but strangely after the operation I spoke to the nurses ONLY in English. To the point, the nurse asked the others whether they were sure I do speak any French or Swiss German at all. Once I was more awake, the nurse told me this and we both laughed quiet hard. Crazy funny how the brain works sometimes. 2:00pm – Time to wake up and say Welcome to my small boobies! After 6 hours and a half, I was fully conscious again (or so I thought haha) and started to feel a bit the pain on my breast, mainly on the right side, where Doctor B. had to remove a bit more due to previous asymmetry. I looked down at my breast and OMG that wonderful feeling. They had put me bandages on my nipples and my post-operation surgery bra on already. I am SO happy with my small boobies, although I am freaking out of the idea of taking my bra off and see how I look with the lollipop scars and a breast size I last had when I was only 12 years old, having it now at the age of 28. What a life change! 3:00pm – Thank you wonderful Doctor B., see you next week for the post-op rendezvous. 24 hours post operation / I am doing ok How I feel after 24 hours lollipop breast reduction surgery? I feel fine. I did not throw up or felt badly after the anesthesia at all. I just have to take a lot of pain killers; such as Dafalgan and another one I can’t remember the name… My Surgeon told me I could shower today (24 hours after the operation) but I prefer to only shower my lower body part and wash the rest with baby wipes, just to be on the safe side for the first days. Got to love the lollipops! As I got the lollipop breast reduction incision, I can move and do stuff way better than if I would have gotten the anchor incision. I mean, I just need to take it easy and do things slow but I am surprised how well I am doing. My Mom had taken days off to help me out but apart from not being able to lift things, I can do it almost all alone and it’s just been 24 hours since my operation! I am REALLY impressed actually of how well I am doing. The only tough part is to find a good position to sleep. I did not sleep much last night because of discomfort mainly, not really the pain. Now the challenge will be to find a good position as I usually always sleep on my belly and now I won’t be able to sleep that way for a while. I decided to sleep on my Ikea sofa-bed and placed pillows all around me to avoid turning and getting hurt. I also placed a pillow under my back so that I am a bit elevated. Hope my next nights will be better. Thank you for reading & #staytuned for updates I think I told you pretty much all regarding my first 24 hours breast reduction post operation, am going to go rest a bit now. Quick 48 Hours Post Surgery feedback Just for the record, I was still under some good medicine at the moment I wrote this post. Right after it and the following 48 hours I was totally KO on my sofa-bed we set up as recovery bed. The pain in my breast is there and it comes and goes. Sleeping really is tough, especially that I have lower back pains of always being in the same position. Am full of Dafalgan (taking 5 a day) and am not hungry. All this is not comfortable at all but I know my result will be worth suffering. As promised I will keep you posted here regularly on the blog with my post operation updates as I know there are not that many bloggers who are willing to open up and share about such important topics. I personally made many researches before my operation as I wanted to feel as reassured as possible and I really felt the lack of reviews on getting a lollipop breast reduction. Most reviews are about the anchor incision, which seems to be much tougher to recover from than my lollipop breast reduction. Quick 5 days Post Surgery feedback Oleeee! Last night I could finally sleep in one shot and today I only had 1 pain killer instead of 5! I am feeling much better on day 5 post surgery and even felt like trying on a dress all by myself without screaming of pain. So things are looking pretty awesome. Only thing is… Today is Monday and although it’s been 5 days I finally have the small boobies I wished to have so badly, I STILL did not get brave enough to look at them. Sounds really stupid knowing how impatient and curious I am for everything but this my friends, is a big deal for me. I have a meeting with my Surgeon on Wednesday August 29 so will most likely say hello to my boobies the first time in the presence of wonderful Doctor B. Not very intimate indeed but well, let’s see. By the way, I will be driving to Bern, so wish me luck! Haha but yeah, should be alright. Hope this blog post and my personal experience/opinion will be of a great help to those of you who consider getting a lollipop breast reduction. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I will be more than happy to help you. I will be sharing before/after pictures with you but allow me to get a bit better first and to get time to remove all the pads and the mini bandage that protect my cute little perky boobies. Taking this opportunity once again to tell you how thankful I am to have such wonderful souls like yours, reading my blog posts and following my adventures on Instagram, YouTube and here on the blog. Billions of thanks for your love and support and ALL your messages, which went straight to my heart. Love you guys and I see you again soon for my breast reduction updates! • Croatia VLOG

Hello my Lovelies, hope summer treats you right! We just got back from a relaxing week on Brac Island and in Split, Croatia, where we rented a luxury private villa together with six other friends and my boyfriend. I made a short VLOG about our trip to Croatia (scroll down if you are impatient!), although to be honest we have not done much a part of chilling at the swimming pool of our private villa. Truth is, Croatia is a beautiful country, where you can still feel the traditional vibes as most of the people and instructions are not in English but in Croatian instead. I love this because it makes the experience much more authentic. Throwback to what feels like long ago, yet it was only 2 weeks ago! ✌🏽Working on a short #Croatia Vlog, in between 2 pain killers! 😅 A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on Aug 25, 2018 at 8:21am PDT Regarding our villa, it is called Villa Martelina and it is based in Splitska, which is a small village on Brac Island, at only 10 minutes away from Supetar harbor. Upon our arrival at Split airport, we rented a car with “Golden Car” Company, which by the way completely stole our money because of some extra car insurance bullshit although we had already paid for full cover car insurance, so DO NOT rent a car with them! We then drove to Split city, where we stayed the first night. Our hostel was called Hostel Dvor and it was really lovely and clean! We were three to arrive one day earlier so booked a room with three beds and it was perfect! Super brand new, really well located, cheap and nice hostel, so I highly recommend it to you. Then we went to have dinner nearby at an Argentinian bar, the meat was bomb! After that we had THE most delicious ice cream I ever had at a cute place called Luka Ice Cream & Cakes. All their ice creams are homemade and sooo tasty! I got the cookies flavor with the chocolate cone… I still dream of it now I swear! We then visited Split and it is a truly beautiful city. Love the vibes and the ancient architecture. Would have loved to film more there for the VLOG but it was so hot (42 degrees Celsius) that I simply did not feel like getting my camera out. Visiting Split felt a bit like Greece with the ruins. So nice and pretty! The next day it was time for us to head to our dreamy private villa we rented with Luxury Retreats. We grabbed our car and went on the ferry with it since we needed a car to go around the island. Now, instead of describing everything here by written, here is our mini VLOG! Enjoy! • Marrakech VLOG: 6 Days, 4 Riads

The Perfect Christmas Gift Hello my Lovelies, I just got back from Marrakech a few weeks ago and am already looking at my agenda to see when I could go back (but my Bank is laughing/yelling at me, so now I need to work a bit again). Yes, that is how much I LOVED our trip to Marrakech! Really dreaming to be back there soon. About a year ago, I started to crave to visit Marrakech and I think I ended up being sooo annoying that for last Christmas, my BF decided to offer me plane tickets to the place I dreamed of and kept on talking SO much about. Now, I received many many awesome Christmas gifts in my life; Pocahontas Barbie, no wait… each single Disney Princess Barbies actually, Mermaids PollyPockets, an iPhone and the list goes on!) I had a wonderful childhood and I am fine admitting it, but somehow, getting these plane tickets will also definitely stay at the top of my happy little inner girl’s surprise dreamy Xmas gifts. The next day after I received the plane tickets from Barcelona to Marrakech with Ryanair, I told my BF that I knew exactly where I wanted to stay at and that not only it looks breathtaking but also, it is strangely affordable (really hope it will stay this way). The Power of Pinterest I used to check TripAdvisor a lot in the past when it came to booking accommodations but for Marrakech, I preferred to direct my researches on both Instagram and Pinterest, and then eventually quickly check the comments on TripAdvisor just to “be safe”. I knew the Riads I wanted to stay at were starting to get famous on Social Medias since some big bloggers had stayed to some of them and their gorgeous pictures got viral. Book it, before you Miss it Since these Riads were starting to be in high demand, we knew we had to rush a bit to book all the dreamy Riads we dreamed to stay at. Sooo happy/lucky we did book in December 2017 for May 2018 because now, these exact same Riads are fully booked almost 1,5 years in advance! Here is a piece of advice for you, if you wish to stay at one of the following Riads we stayed at, and that you will discover in this post, make sure you book well in advance, otherwise you may feel a bit sadden. Because to be honest with you, each single of these Riads made us kind of feel like we were the happiest kids of the universe, having the most amazing Vacay ever… Although trust me, we had a lot of pretty amazing vacay around the globe already as you may have noticed. That’s our thing, we just spend all our dollars to travel to cool places and live memorable experiences, while others would rather get some materialistic things. The Riads we stayed at Ok, now it is time for you to discover the 4 Arabic jewels we stayed at (in the correct order) during 6 days in Marrakech. Since there are many things I want to share with you on each Riads, I will soon share one blog post per Riad and you will soon be able to click below on the Riads you wish to know more about, to discover our experience there as well as our pictures. Please just be a little bit patient. 🙂 1) Riad Chamali Little secret paradise 😍 | @riad_chamali #riadchamali 🙌🏽 A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on May 22, 2018 at 12:00am PDT 2) Riad Yasmine Just the 2 of us 🤗😻 chilling @leriadyasmine | #cutestkittyever A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on May 23, 2018 at 11:29pm PDT 3) Riad BE Marrakech Happy corner 🌵| #bemarrakech A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on May 26, 2018 at 1:29am PDT 4) Riad Jardin Secret Isn’t this Rooftop a bedroom goals??? 🙌🏽🌵@riadjardinsecret A post shared by Cíndy ♡ (@cocorebelista) on Jul 19, 2018 at 7:57am PDT Muaks, Muaks Cindy #bemarrakech #riadchamali #riadlejardinsecret #marrakech #cocorebelista #blogueusesuisse #travel #riads #riadyasmine #riadjardinsecret #riadbemarrakech #swissblogger #bestriadsmarrakech #travelblog #blogsuisse #destination

  • Breast Reduction: I am getting a Boob Job!

Hello my Lovelies, today I would like to share with you something very personal, which is not easy to talk about. On August 22, 2018 I will get a boob job. I can already see some of you thinking: “A boob job, seriously? You already have big boobs!” Well, yes, the thing is that I DO agree, my boobies are quite out there and that, my friends, is exactly the reason why I finally got the guts to do a breast reduction. WHY??? This decision has been well thought and I had this clearly planned in my head since a few years now. Why? Because I just cannot stand having big boobies, which makes it SO hard to wear nice clothes without looking like a slut, constantly getting my boobs coming out of XL bikini tops (Yes XL, while my actual clothes size is M!). As much as I love summer, wearing summer clothes has always been a struggle and I know am not the only one struggling with big boobies and fitting in bikinis. Ok, little jokes apart, I have been suffering from back and neck pains + bad postures ever since I was only fifteen years old. Can’t count the number of times my Mom and Dad told me: “Cíndy, watch out your posture! If you continue like this you will be like Quasimodo one day!”. Not the most elegant posture indeed. At that time, I was way too shy, too ashamed and insecure to tell them the reason behind my bad posture. Especially to my Daddy. On top of that, I used to play a lot of tennis back then when I was a kid and a teenager. Thus, having a big breast (80D –EU size, 38D – US size, 100D – France & Spain size) really did not help when doing tennis competitions. I always had to wear at least two sport bras to maintain my boobies correctly in place and even like that, they were still dancing around… like little rebels. Long story short, I started to get boobies at the age of 12, which to me was a real shame. I was hiding in large boys clothes because I suffered from the fact that my school friends (boys and girls) were talking/making jokes about my boobies (already a EU size 75B at the time!) and the fact that I was starting to become a woman, only at the early age of 12! Nobody has any clue on how much this can affect a young girl. Am SO glad neither social media nor phones were part of our life back then. It surely made it easier for me and all of you girls, who most likely suffered from similar things in the past. Bullying is a serious and really tough thing and I feel very sad when hearing teenagers stories and pain nowadays because of some stolen pictures shared on social networks. FINDING THE RIGHT SURGEON & TECHNICS Regarding the operation, I have seen 4 different surgeons in total because I wanted to ensure I was in the best hands and that I would feel comfortable when talking with my surgeon. It was also important for me to see actual before/after pictures of his patients because that should be an obligation when you meet with a surgeon. Never trust one that does not show you any before/after pics of his work! I have seen two surgeons in Geneva and Bern, Switzerland (my beloved country) and two in Prague, Czech Republic. The reason why I thought for a while to get my breast reduction done in Prague was mainly for money reasons, since I will have to pay fully #allbymyself for my breast reduction. In Prague, this kind of surgery costs around 3’500€, while in Switzerland it can cost up to 10’000CHF (around 8’600€). As this is an important surgery and I will be under full anesthesia (I am a bit freaking out about this part by the way), I took the wise decision to get my operation done in Bern (the Swiss Capital) with one of the best surgeon of Switzerland. After some explanations during our three appointments, my surgeon told me that he will do a lollipop incision on me, as my skin is still of a good quality and flexible. I am adding some graphic info below so you can better understand the incisions options and the way scars will be. One of my best friend got operated last year and she got the Anchor incision. She told me she is super happy with her boobs now as they are smaller and perky (Yayyyy!). Thus, I asked my surgeon if I could get the anchor incision as well but he told me that in my case the lollipop incision was going to be the best fit. So, fingers crossed my boobies will end up as perky as my friend’s ones! Haha ok, that was funny to write! WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR MY BREAST REDUCTION? In some countries, health insurances are wonderful and nice but that is NOT the case in Switzerland, as it literally feels like we all pay health insurances a fortune each month for nothing… but that is another topic. So, here is why my awesome Swiss health insurance will NOT cover my breasts reduction operation: 1) Your surgeon MUST remove at least 500gr per boob (that’s a LOT) I first had 800gr per boob (1.6kg of boobs! My God, whyyy?) then started to eat much healthier and to move my booty a bit more, so I lost 5kg and got down to 700gr per boob. So yeah, it is still 1.4kg of boobs in total! Can you imagine my pain? Theoretically, I could tick this box out of the 3 requirements list in order to get my breast reduction paid by my health insurance but technically, having my surgeon removing 500gr per boob would leave me with 200gr per boob, which apparently is smaller than an A cup! I would be flat and that would not be a great idea for me. So, that is the one criteria that will make it painful as I will have to empty my savings bank account since I will remove less than 500gr per side. Probably remain with 300gr or 350gr per boob, making me go from a 80D to 80B cup (Talking EU sizes here again, not US nor France). By the way, WHY so much confusions with bra sizes? Can’t we not just ALL use the same size range?! Seriously! Now, it was not easy for me to decide I would spend all my saving account money to reduce the size of my boobies but both my health and my well being count before all and I am sure it will be a great life investment worth (almost) every penny. 2) You must be in your normal weight, not in over-weight Check your BMI. In my case, I was slightly above 25 points when I went for my first visit at the surgeon I chose, making me overweight (WTF?!). Then, he encouraged me to lose the extra kg, which I did but then I ended up losing some boobs too (see boobs grams lost above). It is important not to take or lose too many kilos after a breast reduction operation, as it may be a bit bad for the final result, which we of course want to look AMAZEBALLS. 3) You must have a specific health insurance that pays for this kind of operation In French it is called: “Assurance complémentaire” Not sure what the equivalent in your country is but feel free to google translate it. A LITTLE MESSAGE FROM ME TO YOU To be honest, I really had NO idea how I would announce this to you, but I always want to be transparent with you and I hope my breast reduction experience will be helpful to those of you who suffer from similar issues and are maybe a bit shy about admitting it. Don’t ever forget that YOU are the only one who lives in YOUR beautiful body, so YOU have the right to do whatever you feel is best for YOU and no one should ever tell you otherwise. Not caring about the opinion of others is what sets you free and makes you the happiest person on earth; think about that! 🙂 I take this opportunity to thank you ALL for your constant love and great support. I do not know yet if I will do a VLOG on my YouTube Channel about my breast reduction or if I will just keep it here on the blog, but what is sure is that I will be sharing this intense experience with you here on the blog soon so stay tuned. If you have any questions or doubts, I will always be happy to get back to you. Love you Girls! • Montreux Jazz Festival 2018 with MAC Cosmetics

Hello beautiful souls! Welcome back on the blog. Today I am sharing with you a bit of my dreamy and amazing experience last month at Montreux Jazz Festival 2018, where MAC Cosmetics invited us to spend two days and one night in beautiful Montreux, Switzerland. Last year MAC Cosmetics invited us to the Locarno Film Festival 2017, where we had loads of fun filming my first VLOG ever. This year, I was super happy when I received the invite to join MAC at Montreux Jazz Festival 2018. Since MAC Cosmetics is the official Makeup Artists of the festival, I could pick the date and concerts of my choice. Now, some of you may have noticed that I really loved Avicii and felt deeply touched by his story like many of you. He was an amazing soul with so much talent and a true kind heart, who left us way too early. Thus, when I saw that I could get tickets for Aloe Blacc’s concerts with whom Avicii wrote one of his biggest success “Wake me up”, I directly picked these tickets, despite knowing the official MAC bloggers event was taking place on the following day. It was simply a decision made with my heart, and I do not regret it, although I would have loved to reunite with my MAC girls. I got goosebumps when he sang the last song and felt happy to be part of a tribute to Avicii at Montreux Jazz Festival 2018. Now, on a happier note, this weekend with MAC was simply SO much fun. I took my fav’ “Spanish Caliente Ole” Partner in crime with me and we had a blast. Saturday started in a pretty cool way as I first had a hair styling appointment, followed by my lash extensions appointment to refresh the Bambi eyes haha. Then, I jumped in my car again and we went straight to Montreux. It was SO hot on Saturday; it reminded me of our crazy hot day last year in Locarno. We checked-in at our super cute Villa Toscane, which is part of the hotel Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa, at around 4:30pm. The room was really nice and the villa perfectly situated right next to Montreux Jazz Festival 2018. Then at 5pm, the sweet and talented Claudia came directly to our room to do my makeup. I was SUPER happy to see her again and to get my makeup done by her again. Last time it was for the launching of MAC Studio Fix products and I loved the result, so I knew this time she was going to ace it again! 🙂 Claudia asked me what I wanted and I trust her a lot of course so simply told her she was free to do whatever she wanted. I just wanted something fresh and with a bit of contouring, to make both my face and nose look a bit thinner. I don’t know why I am getting a bit obsessed with the latter… but well, we all have our little beauty tricks to look at our best, don’t we? I was impatient to see the results as for the first time of my life; I got someone to do my makeup without seeing me in a mirror, so the surprise effect was there. I absolutely love to get my MAC makeup done by Claudia because she is very professional, sweet and gives the best advices. I wish I could adopt her and I think by now she knows it! Haha Claudia picked my favorite MAC fix spray in Coconut and then my fav’ tones for my eye shadow; dark brown, black and a touch of gold in the inside parts of my eyes to highlight my look. I love how she gave me that “Cat eyes” look, I really felt myself with this makeup. She also did some “I got a sunburn on my face” effect, which has become super trendy lately during the past fashion shows. It actually looked super good! I think we should all learn a bit (if not a lot) from Claudia, as she actually starts by doing the eyes makeup first and then finishes up with the foundation and contouring, rather than the opposite. I always start with foundation first but I think now I will try to change this habit. To finish-up this summer glam look, Claudia applied a nude color on my lips, which literally felt like it was my own lips color. I absolutely love the result and SO wish this makeup was permanent! Around 6pm, I was ready to go visit the Montreux Jazz Festival 2018 ’ s backstage. We got our Visitor Accreditations and then went to meet quickly again with Claudia, since she and another lovely MAC Cosmetics Makeup Artist are working in the backstage during the whole festival as official Makeup Partners to take care of all the artists. I loved to see the girls there and to hear their dreamy stories about famous singers and artists spontaneously singing acapella, while getting their makeup done. Must be a really unique experience, lucky girls! J After a lovely chat with the girls, it was time for us to discover the other backstage parts of Montreux Jazz Festival 2018. We saw: 1) The room where Artists can relax 2) MAC Cosmetics Backstage Studio 3) The busy corridors, where all the staff and media are working 4) The top-secret room, where all instruments are preciously kept and prepared for the artists 5) The Visual and Audio production department 6) Aloe Blacc and Zucchero’s Concerts A huge thanks to MAC Cosmetics team, especially Rita and Claudia for having us at Montreux Jazz Festival 2018. I feel truly blessed and happy to be part of such an exciting and lovely family as MAC Cosmetics Switzerland and all the Estee Lauder Company, based in Zurich. Hope you Girls enjoyed reading about this unique experience with MAC Cosmetics at Montreux Jazz Festival 2018 and I will see you again soon on the blog!
